Lewis Terman
Lewis Terman, the next in the order in predicting any link with intelligence, would use the research and information that Binet left after his death to find the measure of inherited intelligence. He revised Binet's test, keeping some key element while adding others. More importantly, and much to the probable dismay of Binet, Terman established new age norms, while also extending the upper range of the test to "Superior Adults." The test, which is still referred to today as the Stanford-Binet, is able to derive a persons IQ. (For more information on IQ go to Concepts and Formulas.) Terman started to encourage intelligence testing, which was backed from the eugenic period in which it was happening. Terman helped the United States be in a somewhat prejudice form toward immigrants who were thought to be "unusual prolific breeders". He thought that there would be enormously significant racial differences in intelligence.
