Giftedness is a high extreme of IQ where primarily children do exceptionally well compared to their peers. A gifted person can also be defined on a IQ scale, typically listed as having an IQ at or above 130 (which is the top 2% of all individuals). There are many misconceptions that IQ is a fixed number, so these gifted children are the only smart ones, but in fact, intelligence is fluid in certain aspects and can increase over time with age. An example of giftedness at a young is Gregory Smith. He did what most children prodigies did at his age of 10, including attending a University, but this child was also a children's rights and peace activist who in fact was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.
